Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays to all.  Hope everyone was able to spend time with friends and family.  Look for updated pictures of the seed starting operation.  It has been totally revamped for the 2011 growing season.

Winter Blues

Winter can be a tough time for all of us.  Spring is still many months away and with all this snow, it feels like it will never get here.  One thing that keeps us going is the arrival of the seed catalogs.   With all the new varieties and all the pictures,  winter just kind of melts away. 

It is at this time we start deciding what we are going to grow for this coming year and what we should start sowing now as transplants.  This is the cure for the winter time blues.
